The City on the Hill church is designed for real people with real needs.  Our city, community, block, schools, everywhere is in need of a Savior and we believe that Jesus Christ is the appropriate one to follow.  Come and worship with us as we work together to shine the light of Christ to all around us.

Right now, The City has an Open Challenge to raise the remaining $3,500 by October 15 to equip the Resource Center with a total of eleven computers, giving our students and their families access to the internet and the opportunity to learn computer skills.
Without access to computers and the internet, our students are at a serious disadvantage at school and the job market beyond. An Internet-connected computer lab enables these at-risk students to complete homework assignments, learn valuable software, research, and typing skills, as well as pursue niche interests in design, web development, and more.

We’re getting close to reaching our goal, but we still need at least 150 people to give. And if you give today,. Not only will your donation help us finish the new computer lab we’re building at The City. It will also impact someone’s life.

A few months ago I was traveling to another state and I was aboard an airplane. As everyone got on the plane we thought for certain that the plane was going to leave on time. I looked at my watch and noticed that we were running thirty minuets behind schedule.  An announcement came over the loud speaker “The plane has too much baggage and were not cleared for take off.; the flight attendant said we must lay aside this extra weight so we could take off.” As I sat there in frustration I began to take an assessment of my life. Then I asked myself this question, what is it in my life that has caused me not to take off? I discovered what it was and as soon as I made it to the next state I got rid of the excess baggage and God cleared me for take off. Since then my life has not been the same. Now let me ask you a question? What is holding you on the run way? Could is be that dead end relationship? Could it be that friend or family member who does not want to grow up? What ever it is get rid of it!  This is the season of destiny and God wants us all to take off. I have been giving and assignment by God to let all of you know you have been cleared for take off? Dreams! Take Off, Family! Take off, what ever area it is in you life God told me to let you know your clear for take off and this time your flying first class.
